Overseer uses Clerk for user authentication and organization management. Our system is designed to be simple and intuitive.

User Roles

Organization Admin

  • Can invite new members
  • Can manage organization settings
  • Full access to all organization features
  • Can view and manage API keys

Organization Member

  • Can use organization features
  • Can view organization settings
  • Can use existing API keys

Organizations

Organizations in Overseer help you:

  • Group team members together
  • Manage access to API keys
  • Track usage across your team
  • Apply consistent safety policies

Managing Your Organization

  1. Creating an Organization

    • Click on “Organizations” in the dashboard
    • Select “Create Organization”
    • Enter your organization name

  2. Adding Members

    • Navigate to Organization Settings
    • Click “Members”
    • Use the invite button to add new members
    • Members will receive an email invitation

  3. Switching Organizations

    • Use the organization switcher in the top navigation
    • Select the organization you want to work with
